Reduction in gas costs for some residents Dublin residents whose natural gas is supplied by Interstate Gas Supply will see a reduction in costs.

Dublin negotiated a price of $0.829 per cubic foot of natural gas from January to October with Interstate Gas Supply; the rate is a 30-cent reduction from the previous year and a 27-percent decrease when compared to the current rate, the city said.

Dublin residents automatically receive service from Interstate Gas Supply unless they choose to opt out. Interstate Gas Supply will send letters to residents this month on service options. Dublin residents who have opted out of service from Interstate Gas Supply must contact the company to receive IGS service.
