The SEC will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Nov. 26, 27, and 28. The center will reopen on Monday, Nov. 30. It will close for the Christmas and New Year's holidays from Dec. 24 through Jan. 2. The center will reopen on Monday, Jan. 4, and will be closed on Saturdays throughout December and January.
¢ Herbal Study Group , 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17. Focus will be anise and sassafras. On Dec. 15, an herbal holiday potluck will be held. The group meets on the third Tuesday of each month to examine a different herbal topic. Cost is $10 a year; the first visit is free.
¢ Simplicity Circle, 7 to 9 p.m., every fourth Friday. The next meeting is Nov. 20. Engage in intentional conversation around interesting and meaningful topics. Cost is $10 a year; the first visit is free.
